In Celebration of Obscura Day the Colorado Steampunks have arranged a glorious day trip to Colorado Springs. Join them on a trip to a Wild Wild West Museum, a Castle for an afternoon tea, and to the beautiful geological landscape known as the "Garden
of the Gods."
DETAILS AND DIRECTIONS
First, we shall explore a ghost town and Wild Wild West Museum (400 S 21st St, Colorado Springs, 80904): http://www.ghosttownmuseum.com/
Admission for our large group will be $5.50/ea (Children under 16 will
be $4). We shall meet here at the gates at 9am, and wander this great
delight until 2PM.
At which time, we shall retire to the Glen
Eyrie Castle (3820 N. 30th St., Colorado Springs, CO 80904) for Afternoon Tea! Participation in this fine event shall

RSVP FOR THIS EVENT because we will need a headcount, if we reach over
26 we must make reservations! The tea starts promptly at 2:30 so we
shall edge that direction post haste.
Afterward, we may wander the castle grounds indulging in steamy photos and recordings of our explorations.
Finally,
if the energy takes us, we shall wander at last to the beautiful Garden
of the Gods, to witness the sun setting over the rocks and indulge in
Tourist Trapping.
DO note carpooling should be available for
this event, as several of us going certainly have room for one or two
more at minimum.
